Freedom Festival Fun in Leo-Cedarville
The small communities around northeast Indiana are unique, but they are all full of charm, bursting with hometown pride and are always ready to welcome to visitors. One such small town is Leo-Cedarville, a few miles down the road from our Dupont Road branch.
In 2022, Fort Financial partnered with the Leo-Cedarville Foundation to sponsor the Market on Main during the town's annual Freedom Festival, which takes place the last weekend in June.
The outdoor market consisted of more than 20 local vendors set up along downtown Leo-Cedarville’s retail district. The market allowed these local entrepreneurs to showcase their businesses and tempt buyers with handcrafted woodworkings, one-of-a-kind artwork, home decor, children's clothing and much more.
The storefronts that make up the downtown district also invited shoppers inside for hand-poured candles, trendy apparel, pet treats and sugary sweets.
Fort Financial team members were in the center of the action welcoming market shoppers, meeting the artists, vendors and shop owners, and booth sitting for merchants when they needed a break during the day-long shopping spree.
The Freedom Festival draws thousands to the town's Riverside Park and surrounding area during the weekend celebration to enjoy a cruise-in, kayaking, cornhole tournament, ruck march, market, children's activities, live entertainment and a fireworks show.
