Committed to Community: Dana Toys for Tots
At Fort Financial Credit Union, we are committed to serving our community. One of the many ways in which we do that is through supporting our sponsor corporation, Dana Corporation & USW Local 903, as they help to raise money for Toys for Tots. Dana has been supporting the yearly fundraiser, led by the Marine Corps since 1992. Each year they raise funds through raffles, donations, and a little extra help from their friends at Fort Financial.
For the past 4 years Fort Financial has supported Dana by encouraging their employees to come in and take advantage of our products and services. This year we donated $50 to the Dana toy drive when a Dana employee opened a new checking account, certificate, credit card or loan. Dana employees really showed their support and helped us raise a record $2,100! This donation helped Dana raise a record total of $34,455 this year, giving Dana the ability to purchase 2,131 toys for kids in need.
Fort Financial is proud to play a small role in working with Dana each year to help provide a brighter Christmas for children in Northeast Indiana.
